Achilles "Κολυμβητήριο Δήμου Βύρωνα Χρήστος Ταμπαξής"
The work was created by the street artist Achilles, aka Mister.Achilles, and is an impressive, cheerful visual intervention, a hymn to life's little joys, contact with water, and sports.
Achilles is one of the oldest and most talented street art and graffiti artists in Athens. For more than ten years, he has been filling the city streets with impressive female — mainly portraits — but also many ingenious anamorphic works that often contain strong doses of subcutaneous irony and sarcasm about contemporary consumer society and the modern way of life. His works in the municipality of Vyronas include the large-scale project in Ethnikis Antistaseos Square (Tapitourgeio), inspired by traditional Mikrasian kilims, the mural outside the rhythmic gymnastics hall at the municipal stadium, and he also participated in the 1st street art festival of the Municipality of Vyronas.
