1st Chalandri Street Art Festival

On the occasion of World Street Art and Free Expression in Public Spaces Day, the Municipality of Halandri is organizing the 1st Street Art Festival, with the participation of street art and graffiti artists, musical groups, acrobatic groups, DJs, and a workshop for young and old, on the weekend of October 29th & 30th 2022, with free admission.

The Festival will take place at the "Markos Papadakis" sports center, whose walls will be transformed into a field of artistic creation and expression. The artists will create female-themed murals, depicting women as symbols.

Additional activities

In addition to the artists' creations, there will be musical groups, acrobatic teams, and cheerleaders at the Festival venue throughout the weekend. And after 8:00 p.m., DJ Giorgos Apostolou will take over.

In addition, through the artistic workshop, which will take place on Sunday morning, young (and not so young) friends of the Festival will have the opportunity to express themselves artistically and create their own graffiti.

The Street Art Festival is a joint organization of the Municipality of Halandri and the Awesome Athens Experiences team, whose goal is to promote Athens and its suburbs through contemporary urban art.
